I loved working on this project with Sara. Initially we talked about making a print, then two, and then it became 6 prints. She showed up at the press with pencil sketches of each page. We started by having Sara hand paint all the silkscreen images. Almost all the typography and poems you are seeing was hand-set lead type. Lastly, Sara had a group of images that we made into polymer plates, and we printed them on the Universal III.
